Hillary Roberts has been the Executive Director of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society (KVHS) since 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. Prior to her time at KVHS, she spent 8 years working for the American Red Cross. She is a seasoned nonprofit leader, with a career highlight of leading the effort in an 8.3 million dollar capital campaign to build a new shelter for KVHS, the Nancy Shuman Animal Shelter. When not working in animal welfare, Hillary serves on her local school board and is an avid runner, reader, and gardener. She also is the proud mother of two school aged children, who are her single greatest accomplishments.
