Bethanie Kisler joined Maine Humane in April 2024 as the Administrative & Engagement Coordinator. With a diverse professional background, Bethanie brings experience in administrative roles, social security disability and veteran's law case management, and social media influencing.

Her passion for animals runs deep, with years of volunteer work spanning across a variety of species, including reptiles, small exotics, parrots, wildlife, and companion animals. A dedicated advocate for animal rights and welfare, Bethanie has a special interest in parrots and envisions a world where birds no longer live in captivity.

Residing in Saco with her cat, Sassy, Bethanie’s combination of professional expertise and hands-on volunteer experience makes her a valuable addition to the Maine Humane team. She is excited to contribute to positive, lasting change for animals across Maine and to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
