🐶 ❄️ January Newsletter ❄️ 🐶

New Year, New Us.

The Maine Federation of Humane Societies is excited to announce its new name, Maine Humane starting in January 2025. This strategic move will more accurately define the 71-year-old nonprofit’s mission to provide resources and opportunities dedicated to promoting and advancing the humane care of all animals throughout the state of Maine.

This rebranding initiative includes a new logo and a comprehensive website that will serve as an informational and communication hub for shelters, rescues, animal control officers, rehabilitators, municipalities, advocates, legislators, and the general public.

Maine Humane’s website located at www.mainehumane.org, features information about statewide resources, events, and vital programs focused on managing community cats, improving the handling of cruelty cases, promoting collaboration, and sharing resources.

With the new website, Maine Humane can connect organizations and individuals with resources to create timely solutions that will help improve the lives of animals and those of the people who care for them.
